Sunday July 27

Before I forget I have to write this down. Travis told me in sacrament meeting today and I thought I was going to go into labor because I was laughing so hard. The other day he was out on the deck BBQing with sadie. He had his phone and they were listening to music. He was dancing trying to get her to dance too. Because of the fence, our neighbor couldn't see Sadie only Travis out dancing on our deck. Our neighbor yelled out the window "go neighbor!" Wouldn't you think it was the funniest thing to see your neighbor out dancing by himself while BBQing? I seriously couldn't stop laughing when Travis told me.
I was having some pretty good contractions today in primary. Its getting really hard to sit on the hard chairs for so long. I am 37 weeks ( ok, 361/2). I just can't imagine 4 more weeks. Isn't funny how long that last month can be? Especially when you can't imagine your belly getting any bigger.
Yesterday was a fun day. Caden had a soccer game. He is so much fun to watch because he really hustles and has fun. He got excited for his team whenever they scored a point. He's a great team player and had a smile on his face the whole time. After his game Trav dropped us off so we could get ready to go to Cadens first grade teachers wedding. I had volunteered 7 months ago to play for her wedding. At the time I didn't think about how big and pregnant I was going to be. It was good though. And Caden enjoyed seeing his teacher again. After the wedding Ben and Michelle, Celeste, Tyler, Kelly and Janice all came over for homemade icecream and to visit. Its always fun to get together. We had a good time playing the wii and visiting. We love visitors for anyone who wants to come!! Its a great time of year to visit Flagstaff. I have to remember how wonderful the summer is when we are getting snowed in during the winter.

Travis's trip to Alaska

See that nice cabin across the river? Thats where the guys stayed. Actually, it was this cute little, cozy cabin they opted for. It had two, three stacked bunk beds. And a little corner table that sat one. How cozy!! Travis went with his Dad, brother Brad, Brothers-in-law, Mark and Ben to the Kenai peninsula in Alaska. They had a good time fishing, fishing and fishing!

more Alaska pictures

These are some Halibut and Red Salmon that they caught. We have a freezer full of fish so come on over. Travis is learning some good ways to cook it.

I'm having so much fun learning to scrapbook on line. I love that there is no mess and that I can do it anytime and anywhere. If anyone is interested I am using fxfoto. It is such a simple way to scrapbook. Ok, Sadie just bonked her head and is screaming I better go. She hates when I practice for symphony, now she hates when I'm on the computer. She is probably going to hate the new baby too. Oh great.

My absolute favorite!!

It makes me so happy when I catch my kids reading. They have really enjoyed the summer reading program at the library this summer. The theme is "learning to catch the reading bug." And after they read a certain amount they get to pick out a "bug" prize. Its just such a nice QUIET activity that I don't mind them spending hours doing. We have also discovered we like to lay on our beds and listen to books on CD. Its a nice way to spend quiet time while Sadie is taking a nap.

Total sweetness

Sadie has been such a fun girl. She loves loves loves to practice the violin. She has even cried when I tell her thats enough practicing. She really is our little angel. The boys love her to death and think she is the funniest thing on earth. I don't have to spoil her because the boys get her whatever she wants. Matthew will even make her a bottle of milk and turn on Dora for her. Its so funny because they both talk to her like she is a little baby still. She is just so lucky to have two older brothers that will definetly look out for her.

How should we spell it?

We all like the name Crew, but I'm not quite sure how we should spell it. What do you think, Crew, Cru, Krew, or Crue. Any suggestions?
Also has anyone tried the Graco swing where you just set the car seat into it? I think its a great idea, but I know Leanne would never buy a swing unless it plugged into an electrical outlet. But how nice to be able to come home and keep the baby sleeping by just setting him into the swing.
I know its getting close because I start to have crazy baby dreams. Last night I had a dream that it was a girl and I was so worried because my Mom is making a really cute blue and brown baby blanket. In my dream Travis wasn't there at the delivery and so I was so excited to dress her up like a boy and then have him change her diaper to find out that we had a girl instead. Funny huh?

Fun time in St. George!

We left Thursday afternoon for St. George. Michelle kept texting me telling me what she was dialated too. We actually made it to St. George before she had him, but I didn't know what to do with my three kids and so we went to Leannes. Leanne had Michelles kids plus hers so I just didn't feel like I could leave her and go to the hospital. Michelle called us right after she had the baby so Leanne and I took the Kelsch kids to go see their new little brother, Kade Douglas. Thanks John for watching the rest of the kids. It was so cute to see how excited the kids were to see their little brother. I loved how Brielle said, "Mom, I think there's another baby still in your stomach." They think our stomachs go right down after the baby-wouldn't that be nice. To be right back to your pre-pregnancy weight how nice.
My Mom came and stayed with Michelle for a week. She is such a great help. All she does is clean, cook, clean, cook, and clean all while watching kids. I felt like I was more of a burden than a help adding more kids to the bunch. Michelle actually babysat for us while Maryann, Leanne, my Mom, and I went to see Les Miserable. Thanks Cam and Shell. We had a great time.
Maryann and Clayton asked me if I liked living away from family. I told them I loved it. But I have to just clarify that if it was possible I would love to have my kids grow up with their cousins. It makes me sad when we come home and they miss them. I also miss doing things together everyday. I'm just glad we only live 4 hours away. We will miss you if you decide to move up north!! When would we ever see you?
It was pretty rough having Travis go to Alaska. I know its selfish of me, I think it was just that I am 8 months pregnant and watching three kid wore me out. I still feel so tired from it. I hope I can get back some energy for when this baby comes.

Saturday July 5th

We went to lake Mary Sat. Morning to do a little boating. Lake Mary is 10 min. away from us. I love this lake because of the beautiful pine trees that surround it. For as beautiful a lake as it is, we are constantly amazed that its not crazy busy. This was the 4th of July weekend and there were still only about 5 boats. This is Caden wakeboarding
with Travis. Because Travis is worried about his knees, he likes to ride the air chair. Its pretty fun to watch. When we got home, Grandma Reber told Travis and I to just leave and she would watch the kids. So Trav and I had a great afternoon together shopping and going to the movie. Thanks Tamara. The kids sure have a good time with you.

Thanks Grandma Wilkes!!

Grandma Wilkes make this cute quilt for our little baby boy. Caden and Matthew were so excited about it. They think it is perfect for him. Thanks Grandma. We love you and appreciate your thoughtfulness.

4th of July

This year the flagstaff symphony played outside in the pine mountain ampitheater. It was a lot of fun music. Travis took the kids with Grandma Reber who came up to escape the 100 degree weather in Mesa. Caden really enjoyed it and said that he wished Payton could have come because he loves star wars. Travis said Sadie liked it too. He said that Matthew fell asleep after the first song. This morning I asked Matthew how his nap was last night. He said, "it was better than your concert." I just about died. I couldn't believe he came up with that one. Caden even tried hard to wake him up when the star wars characters came out. I had Travis film some of it for my Mom and Dad. I know they would come to every concert if they could. Anyway, it was a fun night. I laugh when I get a check for doing what I love to do. Travis filmed us playing the star wars theme, but for some reason it wont download. I will keep trying though. Caden wants Payton to hear it.

Silly kids!!

This was Sadie dancing to the music of the ice cream truck. She was being so silly and making the funniest faces. I got just a little on film.

Matthew's first soccer game

Matthew was so excited to play soccer. When he got his uniform, he wore it for two days in a row. He also thinks he's the fastest runner in his new cleats. He is such a cute little boy and is constantly making us laugh. We love him so much.
